Welcome to Waddell Apples
Orchard and Bakery
Visit our scenic orchard farm by the historic Rideau Canal for Pick-Your-Own apples and Pumpkins. Or buy our farm-fresh produce ready-picked at our heritage 1830's log cabin store. Our Farm bakery offers fresh home-made baking and preserves, as well as other local farm products.
We are located at the east end of Kingston Ontario, just 10 minutes north of the 401, at the corner of Highway 15 and Washburn Road (Lower Brewers Lockstation on the Rideau Canal).
Our harvest season starts early August and runs to end October while supplies last. We are open 10 AM - 6 PM, 7 days a week. For your convenience, we offer a picnic area nestled among the apple trees and lots of free parking. Waddell Apples is a family-run farm business, with a focus on heritage apple varieties and environmentally-friendly practices:- Minimal spray program
- No herbicide used under the trees (we mow the grass!)
- Sturdy made-in-Canada cloth picking bags available or bring-your-own.
Come with family and friends to enjoy the fresh air, beautiful scenery and – of course – the great taste and excellent value of fresh-picked apples. Schools and other groups are welcome – call ahead to book your visit. Pets are welcome too - just keep them on a leash and kindly follow 'stoop-and-scoop' protocol!
